Our PastorPastor Keith Ross resides in Maryville, Tennessee with his wife, Starr, and has been a born-again believer in Jesus Christ since 1986. Pastor Keith is very active, not only at Oak Street Baptist Church, but also within the Chilhowee Baptist Association where he has served on numerous committees, and is currently on the leadership team and serves as clerk. He is a missions-oriented pastor and has served as a Bible teacher on mission trips to Nicaragua and Honduras and functioned as team leader on mission trips to Appalachia and Canada.
Pastor Keith has a wide variety of ministry experience having formerly functioned on church staff positions as minister of music, minister of administration, mission's coordinator, and filled the role as chaplain to the Greenback High School's football program for ten seasons. Additionally, he has also served in lay minister positions.
Pastor Keith has authored numerous freelance newspaper articles and has spoken in churches of various sizes.
Pastor Keith graduated with honors from Greenback High School. He has taken college-level classes at the University of Tennessee, Pellissippi State Community College, and Johnson Bible College. He has also completed several self-enrichment courses including Adrian Roger’s Pastor Training Seminar, Jim Henry Deacon Training, TBC Premarital Counseling Training, NAMB THRIVE: Twelve Month Church Revitalization Program, The Theology Program, J. Harold Smith Bible Institute (Carson Newman College) earned Certificate in Preaching, Johnny Hunt Deacon Training, and TBC Chaplaincy Training.
Pastor Keith was ordained as a minister of the gospel in 2008 and is currently completing a degree in religion through Liberty University.
